By giving a child an education, you are giving a chance for a better life. Schooling will give them the opportunity for getting a job and the capability to fend for them selves, thus lifting them out of poverty.
Even though primary school is for free in Kenya, the family needs to pay for books, shoes, school uniform, examines, tables and even building fees. This makes it hard for a poor family to prioritize schooling for their children.
For 55 $ a month you will be providing a child in need with school uniforms, books, shoes, school bag and so on. You ensure them at least two hot meals a day – for some the only food they get the whole day. You also pay for counseling that helps the child cope with traumas and other problems. And you pay for health visitors every third month who gives the child a de-worming treatment some vitamins and in some cases also vaccines and treatment for diseases.
Sow Hopes And Opportunities
Hundreds of sponsors, primarily from Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway and the UK make it possible for 800 students to get an education either at New Life Africa School, a local school, a secondary school, a training place or at college or university. By doing the same you can bring hope, knowledge and opportunities into the life of a child in need.
Each year in January we welcome around 60 new children to the schools. They all need a sponsor to pay for their education and help them to a better life.

For sponsorship, if you have any preferences concerning gender and class. NLAI will attempt to meet your wishes. Send your name, address, phone no., email address and we will contact you directly.
If you, for example, choose to support a school child, NLAI will send you a picture of the child and the child’s story. Thereafter you will regularly receive information about your child such as a new picture once a year, a Christmas letter or drawing from your child, NLAI’s newsletter four times a year and thank you letters after payments, to a maximum of three a year.
If you no longer are able to be a sponsor please send NLAI an email.
